From June 2006 to August 2008, I will be a Peace Corps volunteer teaching English in Moldova. These are my own personal thoughts, feeling, and observations - they in no way represent the opinions of the Peace Corps.

Pictures from the Trip
The top picture is me in the courtyard of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, the second is the Hagia Sophia, the third is the sunset in Bulgaria on our final night there, the fourth is the old section of Istanbul as photographed across the river, and the final picture is from when we climbed the mountian - we were higher than even the clouds.
The Blue Mosque looks like something you would see either on the planet in Aliens or from an early Star Trek episode, I mean it is out-of-this-world eerie....

The pictures are amazing, it looks so beautiful!
Great pictures, Andy. And a great story about your experiences in Istanbul. I was there in April-May of 2006. And that was fabulous!!!
The spirit of Europe and Asia is unique. I'm not sure there is a city like this in the whole world...
Best regards,
Alexei
I love your dad's comment..hilarious and so true! The rest of the pictures look like they could be postcards..amazing.
